Bahrain Medical Society resulted in the election victory of Dr. Mohammed Abdullah senior elected chairman of the Board of Directors for the next two years 2016-2017 by a majority of 56 votes to Dr. Ali Baggara candidate who received seven votes.
She also won both Dr. Amal Al-Ghanim, and Dr. Nora Butti, and Dr. Maram Alcherbta as members of administrators on the board after being granted 53, 49 and 44 votes respectively, against both Dr. Amal Dawood (23 votes), and Dr. Dina Mohammed (10 votes).
The position of Vice President in favor of the resolution by acclamation Dr. Munaf Al-Qahtani, as well as the post of Secretary of Dr. Nizar Abdul Rahman Abu Kamal, and the post of Financial Secretary Dr. Salman bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The elections were held after the Medical Association held its general assembly and completed the record straight in the presence of 109 doctors out of 210 doctors from registered members who have paid their dues, as described demand for the General Assembly as “very good”, where he attended more than half of the members of the first round.
