Established the Emergency Medicine Association in Bahrain Medical Society seminar “Basics of Reading ECG” in collaboration with Mohammed Bin Khalifa Specialist for the heart of the center and in the presence of 42 doctors, nurses and students of excellence and technicians and all who is involved in emergency medicine with the direct link with the patient.
Comes “the basics of reading ECG” seminar in the framework of the keenness of the Bahrain Medical Association to keep up with international medical events, to coincide with the celebration of the world, including the Kingdom of Bahrain World Day, which marks the heart of the September 29 each year.
It included a seminar which was held at the headquarters of the Juffair lectures in the morning and educational workshops in the evening by a number of consultants and specialists in emergency medicine and cardiology of hospitals in Bahrain.

Abu Ziad that the importance of the seminar stems from the emergency doctors and private doctors General Family Medicine are the most important disciplines that suffer the patient first and are responsible in the investigation and referral of patients to doctors heart specialists to work therapeutic interventions in the case of diagnosis of any defect in the ECG for any patient, she said emergency Doctors make fateful decisions for patients related to the patient’s need for surgical intervention or hospitalization or out based on certain tests and results.
For her part, noted Dr. Ghada al-Qasim member of the Bahraini Emergency Physicians Association to the seminar “Reading ECG basics” primarily aimed at enhancing the speed of emergency workers to recognize the imbalance in the heartbeat of any patient, such as heart attacks and irregular heartbeat that could kill the patient if not diagnosed quickly and true.
She noted Dr. Qasim also noted that the title of the seminar is in line with the pursuit of the Bahrain Medical Society to spread health medical awareness within the context of the currently global campaigns to raise awareness of heart disease, and raise community awareness of the seriousness of heart disease, blood vessels, and how to prevent them, especially that health records in the Kingdom of Bahrain indicate that heart disease tops the list of causes of death in the Kingdom by 14% of all deaths, advanced cancer, which causes 11% of them, while experts predicted the high number of deaths due to cardiovascular disease to 23 million deaths by 2030.
