Organized by the Association of Vascular Surgery at the Bahrain Medical Society in children entitled “brachial artery injury scientific symposium at the occurrence of fractures of the humeral” and the best ways of diagnosis and treatment, “which discussed the latest developments in this topic and the latest published global scientific studies.
It permeated the seminar, which took place in the presence of a group of doctors working in various hospitals in Bahrain scientific debate about the experiences of doctors in this regard, in order to reach the best views and medical practices.
President of the Association and Consultant Vascular Surgery Military Hospital Dr. Zafar Kamal stressed that this seminar comes as part of the scientific activities of the Association of Vascular Surgery at the Bahrain Medical Society Program, which aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of presence of consultants and resident doctors specialists vascular surgery.
He pointed out Dr. Zafar to the keenness of the Association to hold more scientific events and contribute to raising the level of medical awareness and health education, and the establishment of more medical seminars that contribute to raising the efficiency of the doctor, as well as to strengthen the links and the development of cooperation between the governing body and members of the Association, pointing at the same time to the attention of the Association to conduct a scientific journal related to its competences research.
For his part, Dr. Rani Aga, Vice President of the Association and Consultant Vascular Surgery and head of the blood vessels and chest at the Salmaniya Medical Complex, to the great benefit of holding such seminars that will enhance medical services in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in advance thanks to the President of the Bahrain Medical Society, Dr. Mohammad Rafi on what the effort and support for all medical links of the Medical Association.
This was the Association of Vascular Surgery at the Bahrain Medical Society recently announced that it conducted scientific research on the rate of amputations of lower limbs as a result of diabetes in Bahrain, in order to form more accurate and comprehensive knowledge about these cases and attributed to the number of people infected with TB.
As was the Association has set up a workshop on “complications of the dye used in the catheter on the kidneys and how it can be avoided”, which was reviewed a number of early surgical operations in Bahrain conducted aorta thoracic through the catheter, and a workshop similar to the work of which presented a paper on the “mother of blood in the artery aorta, “preliminary results indicate that the disease is not widespread in Bahrain.
